What are the services available for parents of Migrant students?
Parent education and involvement is a key component of the Migrant Education Program. Parental input regarding the planning of the Migrant Education Program services is essential. Parents meet a minimum of 6 times per year. During these meetings, they participate in Parent Training Programs based on Annual Needs Assessments. Parent representatives from all districts also meet at least 6 times per year and provide input for program planning and staffing at the regional level.
