What are the service charges that I have to pay on top of my monthly rent?
The monthly debit on your account will include any buildings insurance, or service charges or management fee that you may be required to pay. A full service charge breakdown stating what the services are and how often they are due was enclosed with your rent review letter (usually issued in February each year – except fair rent cases). You would have also received details of your legal obligation for paying your service charges.
