What are the selection criteria for a Graduate Research Fellowship application?
Review criteria include significance and timeliness of the topic, relevance to NIJ s mission, the applicant s academic track record and accomplishments, and the likelihood of completing the degree. Applicants are encouraged to consider how theory and past research inform their research questions and methodology, provide a detailed description of the proposed methodology and analysis plan, and discuss how anticipated findings will be relevant to criminal justice policy or to the concerns of criminal justice agencies and other agencies focusing on crime and justice problems.
