What are the security risks when I use LimeWire ?
If you don’t share your entire HDD ( hard drive ) you should be protected. Keep in mind that this program use Gnutella network. The authors of LimeWire doesn’t have the power to control or scan the entire network for infected files. Just make sure that you will share only the files you want to be shared and for an extra protection don’t run programs that you obtain from Gnutella network since some of them could be infected with a virus or malware and always scan them with a good antivirus.
