What are the schengen Countries ?
The following countries fully implement the Schengen agreement: Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, the Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Switzerland, Sweden and Hungary, plus Island and Norway (which do not belong to the EU). Ireland and the United Kingdom did not sign the agreement. Cyprus, which joined the EU in 2004, and Bulgaria and Romania, who joined in 2007, do not yet fully implement the Schengen agreement. You will therefore need a passport or identity card that is valid for travel to these countries. A driving licence is not valid for foreign travel.
