What are the rules regarding smoking,drinking and romantic relationships at IHF?
A. IHF needs non smokers and those who will not use any drugs nor alcohol while living at our centers because it is not acceptable culturally where we are located, and non compliance causes IHF problems with the majority of all local leaders and parents. They do not want their children associating with people who drink and smoke, especially females, and shun us, ashamed to be seen with such staff and volunteers. As an integral part of all IHF volunteer and hiring contracts , we ask that drinking or romantic relationships take place as a married couple privately or in a city removed from our location on days off only because of the strict cultures we work with when working with many impoverished communities that often hold tightly and treasure their cultures.
