In the publication OSHA’s Top 10 Violations, OSHA reports that fall protection is the second most frequent category of serious violations, with “failure to provide fall protection in residential construction” representing more than a quarter of the citations in the category. Fall protection on a residential construction site consists of providing guardrails around floor and wall openings and work on roofs.
