*****Very Important Information: Parents, if you wish you may help your child celebrate his/her birthday in school by bringing a birthday snack to the cafeteria at lunch time. The state of Texas has imposed some very strict guidelines to follow when food is brought in to share with other students. Please be sure to carefully consult the Texas guidelines (I have extras in the room) or the following website http://www.squaremeals.org/vgn/tda/files/983/1992_Policy%20brochure%20layout% 20final%208.04.pdf. It would be a good idea to keep your flyer handy throughout the school year. Snacks and treats that do not fall within the acceptable category will be prohibited from being served, as mandated by the state of Texas. Thank you in advance for following these guidelines.
