What are the rules of ice hockey?
The game lasts 60 minutes which is done in 3 periods of 20 minutes.There are two basic rules – OFF SIDE – when an attacking player crosses the defending team’s blue line before the puck he is Off Side. Play is halted and a face-off is held on the nearest spot in the neutral zone and ICING – If a defending player shoots the puck from his own half past the opposing team’s goal line and the puck is next touched by an opposing player, icing is called. Play is halted and the puck is returned to the place where the pass originated.

Rule 3: Any player in the act of dangling the biscuit may biff a defending player on the bucket if the defending player in any way inhibits the player dangling the biscuit from putting the biscuit in the basket.
