What are the rules for unused vehicles?
Many residents have multiple vehicles parked on their property. In most cases, there are no issues with that. However, the City has ordinances and codes to keep residents from having unsightly “mini-junkyards.” Junk vehicles are generally considered to be vehicles in disrepair, or left unused on public or private property for extended periods of time. These vehicles are considered a nuisance if left within view from the street or from a neighbor’s property.
