What are the rules for safety belts and car seats?
The front left and front right occupants of a motorized vehicle must wear their seatbelt (As defined in F.S.S. 316.614). All children through age 5 must use a crash tested federally approved child restraint device. Children through age 3 must be in a separate carrier or vehicle manufactured intergraded child seat (As defined in F.S.S. 316.613).
