It is obligatory that all persons practicing the sport of kitesurfing across Dubai must become members of the Dubai Kite Club (DKC). Membership of the DKC provides third party insurance cover to the members. Member of the DKC must acknowledge that they understand and will adhere to all the rules and regulation of kitesurfing across the waters of the UAE. Members are required to provide a medical certificate confirming their fitness to practice the sport and are provided with a membership card, issued by the DIMC as recognition of membership.
