What are the rules and regulations concerning daily school life? Is there a dress and equipment code?
There is not a school uniform however but we are encouraging everyone at Wix to wear a common sweatshirt and polo. The pair can be bought for £10, we also encourage pupils to wear sensible footwear (not flipflops or sling backs) Reception children should bring a white t-shirt and a navy pair of shorts for PE on their designated day. Trainers must be brought in the summer term for outdoor PE. The clothes should be brought in a bag that can be hung on their peg. We encourage the children to dress independently and would be grateful if you could support us by doing likewise at home. A sensible named coat should be worn in the colder weather and hat gloves etc may be kept in a bag on their peg. All clothing must be marked clearly. Reading books and letters should be carried in a Book bag. These are available in the office. Please do not place drinks and snacks in these bags as they can damage books and clothing!
