What are the rules and guidelines concerning passwords?

0

A- You select your password or PIN the first time you log in to Online Banking. You can change it at any time through User Options on the Online Banking menu. Except for the temporary password selected when you enroll, your password will never be known to Bank personnel. Follow these guidelines: • Your password must be 4-8 characters in length. • You can use any combination of letters and numbers. • Your password is case-sensitive; i.e. “A” is not the same as “a”. • When changing your password, the new one cannot be the same as the most recent one. • You are required to change your password the first time you access Bedford Federal Online Banking. • You should not use passwords associated with commonly known personal identification such as social security numbers, your name, birthdates, children’s names, etc.
