What are the rules about personal relationships between staff and students?
Socialising between staff and students on a friendly basis is an important part of the student’s experience of University life. However, the University’s Policy on Prejudicial Relationships makes it clear that staff must maintain the highest professional and ethical standards in the pursuit of good practice in teaching, research, scholarship and administration.
