What are the rules about naming my cat?

0

If you are registering an “unnamed” cat for the first time, you may enter two choices of names for the cat at the top of the Application for Registration of a Cat of a Registered Litter. The owner’s name, address, and city are not allowed in the name of the cat unless it is a TICA registered cattery. Names of cats and catteries may not be duplicated. Punctuation marks of any kind (&, ‘, #, etc.) are not allowed in the name of the cat with the exception of ‘s added to the breeder’s registered cattery name as approved by the breeder. A cat’s name, including cattery names and the word “of” may not exceed 35 letters/characters/spaces combined. If the name of the cat is longer than 35 letters/characters/spaces, the suffix will be dropped automatically.
