There are a variety of undergraduate living arrangements in the residential colleges ranging from singles to quads. On average across the six residential colleges, approximately one-third of students live in singles, one-fifth in doubles and the rest (nearly half of all students) in triples, quads or other suite configurations. Triples are the least common configuration in the residential colleges (only about 1 in 20 students). Suites vary in size and number of rooms. Most (more than 50 percent) include a shared common room. Bedrooms are typically private or shared by two students (a few very large rooms are designated as triples). Between students living in singles and those who have their own bedroom within a suite, approximately 50 percent of students in the residential colleges have a private bedroom. Typically, students living in neighboring rooms or suites share common bathroom facilities. However, a few rooms have private bathrooms and some suites have in-suite bathrooms. Approx
