Medical laboratory scientists performs simple and some complex tests on biological fluids such as urine,saliva,blood or sweat to determine any abnormalities following acceptable methodologies and using some equipments.Infectious diseases can be determine by performing serologic or microbiologic tests on samples as requested by the attending physician.
