What are the risks from microwave radiation associated with wireless networks and mobile phones?
Officially, the risks are best described as subclinical. The FCC has issued rules for non-ionizing radiation exposure, and those rules are based on the heating effects of RF. The big concerns are related to specific target organs, primarily the eyes (where RF heating can cause cataracts) and testes (where fertility is affected.) There have been rumors of a link to brain cancer, but investigation has ruled that out.
