What are the rights of a mortgagor to redeem?
On payment or tender of the mortgage money the mortgagor has a right to require the mortgagee to deliver the possession of the mortgaged property, mortgage deed and all other concerned documents. Also the mortgagee will have to register a written document acknowledging that any right or interest that he might have had in the mortgaged property has been extinguished.
