Many installations require coordination with the office responsible for HAZMAT prior to purchase. Offices responsible for HAZMAT may do the purchasing with its own cards. There are no DoD restrictions on purchasing HAZMAT with the card but use of the card does not preclude adherence to DOD and local policy on purchase, receipt and handling of HAZMAT.
