What are the responsibilities of the chaperones during the event?
Kennedy Space Center’s policy requires that all youth be under the direct supervision of their group leaders and adult chaperones at all times. USF Polytechnic will assign youth to particular chaperones. Here is a list of items that we request the chaperones help with: * Maintaining discipline and attention * Staying with and leading your group at all times * Making sure that your participants are following the schedule * Assisting the participants with their activities, such as the Guest Moon Rocket Scavenger Hunt and team engineering challenge. * Staying with youth and supervising them in their sleep zones through the night. * Attitude is contagious, so be sure to have FUN with your participants. The Overnight Adventure Instructors will be on hand throughout the program and are eager to answer questions and assist the chaperones in any way possible.
