What are the responsibilities of students with disabilities when receiving testing accommodations?

0

If a student qualifies for a testing accommodation, they must provide their professors notification of their accommodation request at least three (3) days before the exam date. If it is not provided within that time frame, the professor is not obliged to provide the requested accommodations for that exam. If it is determined by the professor they would like the exam proctored at DSSO, the student must notify. DSSO no later than three (3) working days to schedule their exam and ensure accommodations are available at DSSO. Any exam scheduled with less than three (3) working days notice will not be proctored at DSSO. Students are expected to complete their exam within the extended time allowed. If a student is a no show for the exam, he/she will need to make other arrangements with the professor (not DSSO) for possibility of make up exams and/or quizzes.
