What are the requirements?
Six courses in Gender Studies. Because many of our courses are cross-listed with other departments, make sure you register for the GST-prefixed sections. Two of these required courses must be from the following: GST 201, 301, 325, 333, 338, 390, or 494. Although it is not now required, it is recommended that minors take GST 201: Women, Gender, and Society, and then GST 333: Gender Theory (prerequisite: GST 201). You must earn a minimum grade of C in each course taken towards the minor. You may access our course lists in online registration by typing in “G ST.
14. How long is a temporary Q.P. license valid? They are valid for 60 days. If the business licensee wishes to renew the temporary Q.P. license a written request, showing good cause, for renewal must be submitted the Commission prior to the expiration of your temporary license. Remember this must be Commission approved, be aware of the Commission Meeting Agenda cut-off dates. If you allow your temporary Q.P. to expire, you will not be eligible for another Temporary Qualifying Party License. 15. How many Temporary QP renewals can I get? Due to the fact that the renewal of a Temporary QP license must be Commission approved, there is no determining how many renewals may or may not be granted. 16. How do I get more information? The notarial fee is $30 for the first consular seal and $20 for each subsequent consular seal on your documents. Witnesses are not provided by the Embassy. If witnesses are required you will have to either bring them with you for the signing, or ask whether another client in the waiting room would be willing to act as your witness. MARRIAGE Can I get married at the US Embassy in Islamabad? American diplomatic and consular officers are NOT permitted to perform marriages (Title 22, Code of Federal Regulations 52.1). Marriages abroad are almost always performed by local (foreign) civil or religious officials. As a rule, marriages are not performed on the premises of an American embassy or consulate. Requirements for all applicants for admission into the program for the Master of Science in Applied Computer Science include the following: • An undergraduate degree from an accredited college or university, AND • A minimum 2.75 undergraduate cumulative GPA, OR A minimum 3.00 cumulative GPA in the student’s undergraduate major, OR Significant experience (as judged by the Computer Science Department) in industrial software development as documented by a resume and other appropriate documents, including published papers or patents. Students may be admitted to the program unconditionally or conditionally (provisionally).
