What are the requirements to obtain a Connecticut Real Estate Salespersons License?
• The applicant must be at least 18 years old, when submitting their application to the State of Connecticut. • The individual seeking the salesperson’s license must successfully complete a sixty (60) hour, instructor led, Real Estate Principles & Practices course. The Real Estate Principles & Practices course must be approved, “to teach the minimum standards as set forth by the Connecticut Real Estate Commission”. • The requirements needed to complete a Connecticut Real Estate Principles & Practices course are sixty (60) hours of classroom attendance, along with passing the course with a grade of 70%. • After successfully completing the course requirements, the applicant must take and pass the “Connecticut State Real Estate Examination for Salespersons”. • After successful completion of the “Connecticut State Real Estate Examination for Salespersons”, State Licensing Laws further require the individual to affiliate themselves with a licensed Connecticut Real Estate Broker within one y
