What are the requirements to go on a GGF?
Well, you have to be able to pay for it, but that should be a given. Originally there were only four main rules. One, you have to be male; it is a guy’s weekend after all. Two, you have to be 21 years old. Three, you have to own your own golf clubs and have some semblance of golfing ability. Four, you have to be tolerant of people partying hard, very hard. You are not required to party like a rock star (or at all), you just have to be tolerant and understanding of however someone wants to party while they are up there. After GGF 5, a fifth rule was added; the Vivek rule. The Vivek rule was named for a friend of a friend (previously unknown to Dave) who went to GGF 5 that turned out to be a colossal a-hole. The rule is that anyone who goes can’t be an a-hole, nor can anyone invite an a-hole.
