Most Gold’s locations have 3 options in regards to requirements. • Golds Gym corporate-owned locations require a nationally recognized certification to become a personal trainer, and you must have one of the Golds Gym approved certifications within 90 days of employment. Please see the What certifications do you prefer FAQ. • Golds Gym corporate-owned locations does accept a 4 year degree in an exercise-related field but again you must have one of the Golds Gym approved certifications within 90 days of employment. Please see the What certifications do you prefer FAQ. • We find that the 4 most recognized in the industry are NASM, ACE, ACSM, and NSCA.
