Each contractor license applicant must have at least one certificate of competency holder (designer) on staff, they must meet insurance requirements i.e. general liability, with errors and omissions included with general liability coverage and Kentucky worker’s compensation insurance. If companies are a corporation, incorporated, LLC or LP, they must be registered with the Kentucky Secretary of State’s Office. Call 502-564-2848 for information on registering.
