What are the requirements to be accepted into the GEMS program?
Successful applicants are students with an expressed interest in the natural sciences and mathematics, a demonstrated desire for high achievement, and willingness to fully participate in all aspects of the program. To be eligible, students must already be accepted into Agnes Scott College for the fall 2009 semester and have confirmed they will be attending ASC in the fall by returning the Candidate Reply Form with the college enrollment deposit. While the college will allow students until May 1st to return the Candidate Reply Form and enrollment deposit, applicants to the GEMS summer bridge program must have completed this step before the April 15, 2009 GEMS summer bridge application deadline. In addition, the online application for the GEMS summer bridge program must be submitted and the completed recommendation forms must be received by the April 15th deadline to be considered for the summer program. A phone interview will be arranged shortly after the application deadline.
