Requirements and recommended guidelines for Freeform are as follows: • All image sources must be hosted and referenced by an absolute file path. (i.e. img src=”http://www.mysite.com/logo_1.gif” instead of img src=/logo_1.gif) • HTML source code file should not exceed 31KB. • We recommend sticking to basic HTML and avoid using JavaScript, Perl, VBScript, ActiveX, Flash, IFrames, HTML frames, HTML layering & HTML absolute positioning. As these types of coding do not render well in most email browsers. • Email width should be around 600px for consistent viewing on most screen resolutions and window sizes. • HTML forms are not recommended due to many email clients not being able to process them correctly. (Hotmail, most Mac Email clients, etc.
