What are the requirements of the International Baccalaureate Diploma program?
It includes courses in English, a second language, history, science, math and electives. In addition, the program offers three special features: The Theory of Knowledge class asks students to reflect on the experiences gained in and out of the classroom; Creativity, Action, Service hours emphasize participation in fine arts productions, sports and community service activities; and the Extended Essay gives students a chance to research a topic of special interest and write a paper that meets the requirements of IB. Each subject culminates in an examination which can be taken at the end of the junior or senior year.
