What are the requirements of Parent Participation Preschools?
• Parents participate as “duty” parents in the classroom an average of two times per month (another caregiver such as a nanny or grandparent may act for the parent) • Attend monthly general meetings where preschool business is discussed and parent education sessions are conducted, with the opportunity to hear professional speakers on a variety of parenting topics. This is also a time to socialize and share information and experiences with other parents.
