What are the requirements of owning a Pit Bull in the City of Cleveland?
City Ordinance 604.03 states that the dog must be: • confined within a locked 6 foot fence or pen with a roof • owner must have at least $100,000 of liability insurance • dog must be micro chipped or tattooed • dog must be muzzled and on a leash when off the property • dog must be in the possession of a person that is at least 18 years old • See the full ordinance here, or request a copy at 216.664.3069
