What are the requirements of a B.E.S.T. student and their parents once enrolled?
B.E.S.T. students are expected to maintain their high academic standards and provide assistance to other students in need of their support. B.E.S.T. families are asked to informally recruit new families to participate in B.E.S.T. and volunteer a minimum of 8 hours of service to B.E.S.T. per year. B.E.S.T. volunteers are critical to the long-term success of the organization. All 6th, 7th, and 8th graders are expected to attend a mandatory Student Summer Program. The program lasts between 4 and 5 weeks during the summer.
