In Florida, as of January, 2011 you must take a Board of Pharmacy Approved course such as the one offered by UF. Our course not only prepares you to pass the national PTCB exam (which is NOT required to work as a pharmacy technician in Florida), but also provides competency based training and networking capabilities through our externship experiences.
