What are the requirements in conjunction with submitting a proposal through the Governor’s office?

While the RFP states that proposals must be submitted through the Governor’s office, NMSI is waiving this provision. All proposals must have letters of support from the Governor but do not have to be submitted by the Governor’s office. The strongest proposals will have letters of support from their Governors that are specific and enthusiastic in their commitments to and knowledge of the program. For example, the Governor may commit to recognizing UTeach graduates as fully-certified and highlyqualified teachers or to providing data on where UTeach graduates are teaching and their effectiveness in their assignments.
