What are the requirements for timely filing?
• All CareSource claims: clean, coordination of benefits corrected will now be accepted 365 days from the date of service (previously 180 days) • Claim appeals will now be accepted 365 days from the date of service or discharge (previously 90 days) • Medical necessity claims will be accepted for 180 days from date or service, date of discharge or date of denial if service was not yet rendered (previously 90 days)
