2 doses of varicella vaccine are required for Kindergarten students effective 2008-2009 school year. Subsequent year thereafter the next highest grade will be included in the requirement. (e.g. 2009-2010 Kindergarten and 1st grade, 2010-2011 Kindergarten 1st & 2nd grades etc) Varicella vaccine is NOT required if there is a history of varicella disease documented by the Health Care Provider.
