What are the requirements for the CFRE Program?
The CFRE certification process consists of three parts: a written application, a written examination; and agreement to uphold a code of ethics and Accountability Standards. There is a requirement to recertify every three (3) years. Steps: 1. Complete CFRE web-based application form. To go to the CFRE web site directly, click here: www.cfre.org. 2. Submit application with a postmark of AT LEAST 60 days prior to a desired exam date and all necessary fees 3. Applications are reviewed. If additional or clarifying information is needed, the candidate is contacted directly 4. 30 days prior to requested exam date, candidates are sent an Authorization to Test (ATT) Letter 5. Make testing appointment via website 6. Take exam. If taking Computer-Based (CBT) exam, receive preliminary scores immediately. 7. Two (2) weeks following the close of the testing window, candidates are sent official notification of their certification status. 8. CFRE International staff members are available to assist you
