What are the requirements for the binder?
Students are required to have a three-ring binder that is for math, reading and language arts if they are in my homeroom. No other subject materials should be in the binder. The student should use three dividers to sort their paperwork. Label the dividers: reading, language arts, and math. Students should place the loose papers into the appropriate area of the binder. All papers should remain in the binder until the teacher gives notice of removal. In addition to the three sections, students should have a spiral notebook that fits neatly into the binder. All students should have an ample supply of loose-leaf paper, pens, pencils, erasers, and assorted art materials. The supplies should be kept in a pencil case that also fits neatly into the binder. My students who only have math with me should follow all guidelines except the reading and language arts sections.
