What Are the Requirements for Tablet PC Carrying Cases?
Tablet PCs are easily damaged by rough handling, dropping, and crushing forces. We strongly recommend that all users transport their tablet PCs in top-opening, padded carrying cases specifically designed to carry just the tablet PC. We strongly recommend against stuffing tablet PCs into backpacks and book bags where they are exposed to crushing forces from other heavy items in those bags. Tablet PCs that are dropped or otherwise impacted when not inside a carrying case are likely to suffer significant, expensive damage to the screen and/or shell. While such damage is covered under the Toshiba SystemGuard warranty, coverage is limited to about $1,500 over the lifetime of the machine.
