What are the requirements for Sales Representative positions with Medtronic?
The majority of Medtronic’s products are implantable medical devices. In general, Medtronic has determined the minimum requirements for these medical device sales positions are a BA/BS degree in life science, business or related field; a minimum of 3-5 years of successful sales experience selling products related to Medtronic’s line; effective interpersonal skills plus excellent oral and written communication skills. Preferred requirements include 5 or more years experience selling implantable medical devices, and established customer relationships within a specific geography. Knowledge of reimbursement and/or local health systems is a plus. Individual positions may vary slightly from these requirements across Medtronic businesses.
