Pervasive PSQL can be set to run on only one protocol at a time, and, by default, it’s set to run on TCPIP. This setting can be changed in the Sys:ODBC\ODBC.INI, on the server. Open the ODBC.INI in Notepad, and edit the MgrUseTransport=TCP line to read MgrUseTransport=SPX. Then, after saving, enter MGRSTOP, then MGRSTART at the server’s console prompt. Now ODBC will be set to run on SPX.
