As set out in Section 2 (5) of O. Reg. 98/02, both the teacher and the principal are required to sign the teacher’s ALP each year and retain a copy for their records. Boards may choose whether the ALP with electronic signatures, rather than original paper copy signatures, is acceptable. Either way, signatures provided by the principal and teacher are legally required.
