What are the requirements for PE? Are the kids supposed to get it daily, or how frequently and for how long?
At the elementary level, the state mandates 200 minutes of physical education instruction every ten instructional days. At Willett this instruction is delivered by the classroom teacher. There is no requirement for daily PE, and teachers have variable routines that often take the weather into account. The state has defined physical education content standards for each grade level.
