What are the requirements for participating as an angel investor?

0

Individual investors who wish to participate as a TVAN angel investor must meet SEC requirements for accredited and sophisticated investors. To meet these requirements, an investor must certify that they meet one of the following: • Non-Real Estate Net worth of $1,000,000, either individually or with a spouse. • Individual income of $200,000 in each of the most recent 2 years and a reasonable expectation of reaching the same level in the coming year. • Joint income with a spouse of $300,000 in each of the most recent 2 years and a reasonable expectation of reaching the same level in the coming year. Angel investors must also be willing to seriously consider investment opportunities of $50,000 or more in entrepreneurial ventures presented by TVAN. Finally, angel investors are required to pay an annual membership fee, which covers the cost of monthly dinners with entrepreneurs and TVAN administrative costs.
