What are the requirements for obtaining an I-20 from Des Moines University (non-Canadian citizens)?
• You must submit a Supplemental Application for International Students (SAIS form) (PDF) or (DOC) at the time of application. • You must provide documentation of professional licensure/practice privileges for your chosen profession in your country of citizenship. • You must be admitted to DMU as a full-time, on-campus student (part-time and on-line students are not eligible). • You must have satisfactory English language skills (TOEFL score may be required). • If you are currently in the U.S. studying at another institution, your school must complete a transfer form. • Students in clinical programs (DO, DPM, PA, or DPT) and accompanying dependents must carry DMU’s student health insurance plan. • You must prepay tuition, fees, and expenses for your entire course of study at Des Moines University prior to April 30, or two weeks prior to the start of your first term, whichever is applicable.
