What are the requirements for obtaining a Provisional Brokers license?
You must attend and pass an approved Broker Pre-Licensing course of at least 75 hours. The final grade must be at least a 75% correct score and you must attend at least 80% of all scheduled classes. Upon completion of your broker pre-licensing course you must then apply to take the state exam. The North Carolina State Exam application fee is $30 and there is an additional fee of $66 if you wish to take the exam on computer. Minimum passing score is 75%. After passing the state exam, and assuming there are no problems with your background check, you will be awarded your license.
