What are the requirements for hours of mandatory operation?
As defined in CT DPUC docket 05-07-17; for purposes of the monetary grants, the DPUC will define base load generation units as those that are intended to operate at a 85% capacity factor or greater from 12:00 pm to 8:00 pm weekdays during the months of January and February and June through September. If a generator is not expected to operate to this standard, its monetary grant will be prorated accordingly.
