What are the requirements for getting a Colorado Concealed Carry permit?
You can pick up a more detailed set of requirements at your county sheriff’s office but, the general requirements are: • You must be 21 years of age* • A Colorado resident • No felony convictions, misdemeanor child abuse, domestic violence convictions, or perjury convictions related to a permit application • No multiple DUI’s or alcohol related driving convictions in the past 10 years • Not currently under a restraining order • A certificate from a Firearm Safety class by an NRA instructor** (all our classes qualify) **Hunter Safety classes are not considered valid for concealed carry Note: If you qualify, you cannot be refused a permit.
